On Thursday 19 April 2018, a player on Grand Mondial Casino collected a whopping €4.6m on Microgaming‘s Mega Moolah progressive jackpot bringing the jackpots paid out to date in 2018 to more than €18m.

In January, a player scooped €2.4m on Zodiac Casino followed by a Royal Vegas Casino player picking up €4.8m in late February, both on Mega Moolah.

Nine days later, the progressive network paid out another €4.4m to a mobile player on Captain Cook’s Casino.

Microgaming’s Major Millions five-reel slot also joined the party, paying out a €1.9m jackpot to a lucky Betsafe player in February.

David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, said: “We all thought 2017 would be a hard year to top after the network paid out over €150m in jackpots, but 2018 is shaping up to be a huge year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network.

“Multi-millionaires have been made each month so far and we are incredibly proud to offer the largest progressive jackpot network in the industry.”

Both Microgaming and Quickfire operators have access to Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, which has paid out over €874m to date.
