As the opening match of the World Cup kicks off at 4pm on Thursday SBC and CasinoBeats will be welcoming the Isle of Man online gaming community to an early evening of drinks, nibbles and networking in the heart of Douglas.
Held at The Railway, on North Quay, the SBC Isle of Man Social is an opportunity for some casual networking for the island’s gaming and betting community. As the SBC media portfolio continues to grow, the company is extending an especially warm welcome from CasinoBeats, ahead of the inaugural CasinoBeats Summit in September, which is taking place as part of Betting on Sports Week in London.
The afternoon’s opening World Cup match will be shown and anyone involved in the online casino gaming sector and related industries is invited to come along to watch the game and for some complimentary food and drink, in the company of friends and colleagues from the island.
Tony Jones, e-gaming development manager for the Isle of Man government, said: “SBC Events are known for their excellent gaming conferences and exhibitions, a reputation that grows stronger with each event and we are pleased to host the next SBC Social on the Isle of Man.
“We also offer our congratulations on the launch of the CasinoBeats brand and wish them every success along with a warm welcome to our shores.”
Rasmus Sojmark, founder of SBC, added: “We are really excited about the inaugural CasinoBeats Summit, which is being built on the strong links CasinoBeats has established with the online casino sector, not least with the vibrant igaming community on the Isle of Man.
“The Social is a perfect way to strengthen these links and offer people an enjoyable early evening, hanging out with friends and colleagues, and watching the football – all courtesy of SBC.”
