TheSunPlay.co.uk and gaming software and services provider Nektan have been hailing their partnership, after reporting record revenues for the online slots site for readers of UK national The Sun.

The News UK brand, the owner of a stable of news and media outlets, sees its The Sun Play entity powered by Evolve, Nektan’s “proprietary white label platform”.

For the twelve months ending June 30 The Sun Play has reported that it has achieved increasing annual revenues year-on-year with £1.8m in net gaming revenues (NRG), which represents a 47 per cent NGR boost from the previous years figures.

Nektan manages the entire slots site operation and player gaming experience on behalf of the News UK brand, which includes customer services support, regulatory approvals and licensing, player tracking and reporting, CRM, payment processing, games content and security.

Nektan states a belief that it is the support of in excess of 500 titles from a plethora of leading developers, that has aided The Sun Play brand to grow from strength to strength.
