BetMGM extends NHL sponsorship to provide ‘unforgettable entertainment’

BetMGM will continue as the NHL’s official sports betting and gaming partner after the duo announced a multi-year extension of their sponsorship agreement. 

Under the revised partnership, BetMGM will create specialised VIP experiences for NHL fans while the operator’s branding will be used on nationally televised US broadcasts of hockey’s most prestigious league. 

Moreover, the partnership will allow BetMGM – a joint venture between US giant MGM Resorts and UK-based multinational Entain – to design proprietary online casino titles that use branding from the league and its teams. 

BetMGM recently collaborated with Digital Gaming Corporation to launch an exclusive NHL-branded slot release for its New Jersey players, producing NHL Gold Blitz earlier this month.

For BetMGM’s exclusive branding deal, the company’s camera visible signage will be included across the NHL’s regular season as well as the Stanley Cup Playoffs, utilising the league’s Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards for dasherboard advertising and virtual slot in-ice adverts.
