Stewart joined SBC to launch the CasinoBeats brand in January 2018, prior to which he was editor of industry magazine iNTERGAMINGi. He has worked in journalism since 2009 and in the gaming media since 2012.

Rasmus Sojmark

Position: CEO & Founder

Rasmus has 15 years industry experience, with an early career start as commercial director of, and founding team member of EveryMatrix. In 2009 he founded SBC Global (a highly successful events, news and media business) and (a b2b social sportsbook platform).

He holds a University Masters Degree in International Marketing, with a dissertation that researched and analysed both online and land based sports betting behaviour. His work was later presented and published in academic books at Aalborg University.

While at EveryMatrix he won EGR Awards for Best Sportsbook Innovation 2010, Sports Betting Rising Star 2011 and special commendation for White Label Partner of the Year 2011. In 2008 and 2009 he won back-to-back IGB Awards for Best Sports Betting Affiliate and the Best Overall Affiliate with



Neil Judson

Position: Senior Sales Manager

Neil has been in the gaming industry since 2007 and his main gaming background is publishing where he started out at Betting Business magazine with my SBC MD Andrew McCarron. Since then he has experience of working with SG Gaming and InterGame… all leading to SBC Global which provides something new and challenging (in a good way) on a daily basis.

Conall McCabe

Position: Commercial Manager

Conall McCabe has been involved in the Sales and Commercial sector for all of his working life. Upon leaving University with a Marketing degree, Conall worked in the charity Fundraising sector, which culminated in him running the entire F2F British Red Cross Fundraising operations across their Manchester and Leeds offices. He was also responsible for heading up sales and launching various brands in the diversity and equality industry at an organisation called Diversiton. He joined SBC in January 2016. He is passionate about the Betting and Gaming industry, and has a strong fondness for watching football, playing poker, and enjoying the social side of events.

Alyona Gromova

Position: Eastern European Head of Sales

Alyona Gromova after she finished the National Technical University of Ukraine, she worked for a short time in a land-based casino. Then, she undertook marketing roles in the food & beverage field for several years. She has an excellent knowledge of the Ukrainian, as well as the rest of the Eastern Europe markets. She has been working for Oddslife since January 2015 and from January 2017 she joined SBC, and she is responsible for all the Eastern European markets.


Andrew McCarron

Position: Managing Director

Andrew McCarron started in the gambling industry with a weekend job in a bookies and began writing about it in 1998. He hasn’t stopped since. After roles at Coinslot International, Coinslot Review & Euroslot Worldwide, he was the first editor of Betting Business when it launched in 2004. Ten years later he joined SBC as MD where he helped launch the new look SBC News and the betting focused trade show Betting on Football. He’s been keeping busy since.

Ted Menmuir

Position: Content Director

Content Director for SBC operations, Ted has built the leading high coverage news, opinion and features platform for the sports betting sector.  A UCL Masters’ Tech & Management graduate, Ted has a passion for writing about technology/innovation entering the betting industry, new start-ups, ventures and politics and culture.



Luke Massey

Position: Content Manager

A graduate from both Loughborough University and the British College of Journalism, Luke Massey joined SBC Global as Content Manager in January 2016, having spent four years working for social betting network Luke is responsible for featured stories about SBC Media clients and press coverage for SBC Events, as well as breaking B2B news and interviews around the biggest sports betting based companies. Joe Streeter

Position: Journalist

After graduating from the University of Bedfordshire with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Journalism, Joe went onto achieve a Masters degree in International Journalism. Prior to taking his first step into paid journalism with SBC, Joe was working in the industry at Ladbrokes.

Craig Davies

Position: Journalist

Craig Davies is a writing enthusiast who joined SBC in September 2017, following years spent in the news and sport sectors of Journalism, in addition to a significant period of time travelling.

During his time at the University of Central Lancashire, Craig grasped every opportunity he could to gain experience writing on sports. Culminating in a year spent working for The Lancashire Telegraph at Blackburn Rovers during the, then Premier League side’s, 2009/10 season.

Upon graduating with a degree in Sports Journalism, he began working for the Tameside Reporter, a regional title, where his primary duty was news, however, it quickly turned into something of a joint role with sports incorporated into the mix.

After the newspaper entered administration Craig began doing freelance work for a number of websites in several different fields, before donning a backpack for a two year stay in Australia and South Eastern Asia. Short story writing as he ambled from place to place.

Eventually all roads led to home, and his position as a Journalist for SBC.



Michael Lawson

Position: Journalist

Michael joined SBC’s Greater Manchester office shortly after completing a Master’s degree in Media, Communications & International Journalism at the University of Glasgow. Prior to this, he studied Politics at his hometown University of Dundee. Michael is also an experienced freelance music journalist, with a number of articles published in magazines and online platforms, such as Mixmag, Skiddle and The Skinny. He has further journalistic experience from interning with both The Scotsman and the Press & Journal newspapers, plus a developed knowledge of the betting industry acquired from working in William Hill whilst studying in Glasgow.

Martin Hodges

Position: Marketing Manager

Martin has been involved in the online gaming and sports industries for over 10 years. Previously a marketing manager for a bet brokerage service in London before setting up his own mobile betting company. Martin has also worked with some of the biggest names in English football responsible for increasing revenue and fan engagement through marketing and commercial opportunities. Martin is a keen armchair sports fan – especially in football, rugby, F1, martial arts and boxing

Dennis Algreen

Position: Head of Marketing

After finishing a Masters degree in International Marketing in Denmark in 2007, I got into sales, account management and digital marketing of websites and other digital solutions. Joined the SBC Global team in Sept 2016 and very much enjoying being a part of the continued growth of this exciting company in a challenging environment.



Ercin Tufekci

Position: Head of Design

Ercin Tufekci moved to London in 2010 from Istanbul. Since his arrival, he had helped many top iGaming / Event companies to grow rapidly. He never stops learning about the subjects that makes him successful both in professional and personal life. In his spare time, he enjoys discovering London’s hidden gems and socialising with his friends.



Bettina Sojmark

Position: Senior Creative Artworker

Bettina Sojmark, Senior Creative Artworker since 2002. Lives in London. Worked in advertising in Denmark for 5 years before coming to London in 2007. Worked for the Folio Society for 3 years before moving on to TAG in 2010. Worked as Brand Guardian on the H&M account for 5 years. In 2015 she started working for Oliver Marketing on the Starbucks account and stayed for 2 years. She has been working for SBC since January 2017.



Paul Mills

Position: Chief Operating Officer

Shortly after the 2002 World Cup Paul started his career in events and gaming with ATE working as part of the sales team on ATEI, ICE, EIG and the Betting Show. When Clarion Events acquired ATE, he moved into the operations department where he worked across the company’s wider portfolio of events and headed up the Trade Operations Team. Throughout this time, he still was involved with the gaming department managing the operations and logistics across all the gaming events. Latterly he was responsible for creating and leading the Totally Gaming Academy.

In July 2017 Paul joined SBC to head up SBC’s events team.

Charlotte Cowdrey

Position: Head of Events

Charlotte has worked in the trade events industry for over 10 years within various industries organising conferences, exhibitions and awards. Charlotte worked for the gaming division at Clarion Events for 7 years looking after the Special Events, VIPs and regulators to name but a few. In October 2017 Charlotte joined the SBC team as Head of Events.



Olivia Turnbull

Position: Events & Sales Assistant

Olivia Turnbull began interning for SBC in the summer of 2016, before completing an Executive PA programme at Quest Professional.

She joined the London SBC office full time from September 2017 as a sales & events assistant.



Gabor Tatrai

Position: Senior UX/UI Designer

Gabor has been a designer for more than 17 years. In Hungary, he has created and managed a huge number of online and offline campaigns, with names like BMW, Tesco, T-Mobile, Samsung, Nestle, Renault, Adidas and E-ON, ensuring their brand awareness and digital presence is as shiny and effective as it can be. After he moved to London in 2014, he focused on customer and user experience and has worked with many startups to boost growth and fulfil business potential. In 2016 he joined Oddslife as a Senior UX/UI designer and takes care the user experience of their digital product.
