Relax Gaming, Booming Games and Peter & Sons: on the spin

Another week has flown by and slot releases continue to flood the CasinoBeats inbox. This week’s slot round-up features a sleepy sensation from Relax Gaming, Wild West wins with Booming Games and Peter & Sons pirate prizes.

Epic Dreams – Relax Gaming

Relax Gaming has joined forces with slot streamer Casino Daddy once again with the launch of its latest 6×3 reel slot, which offers 117,649 ways to win and a maximum win of up to x5,000 the player’s wager. The slot has an RTP of 96.1 per cent.

Shelley Hannah, CPO at Relax Gaming, commented: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with CasinoDaddy and release Epic Dreams which sees Chip take on his most fun-filled adventure to-date, dispelling myths and proving that sloths are anything but chilled!

“We were delighted with the performance of Sloth Tumble and it seemed fitting to build on that success and elevate the features and mechanics that were integral in that game’s success and provide a fully immersive experience to players.”

The game uses cascading wins, with symbols in a winning combination disappearing after providing their payout to make way for new symbols to drop in from the top of the reels.

Stone blocker symbols appear in rows below the initial 6×3 grid. However, one space on the first stone blocker row will reveal a random symbol on each spin. If this symbol ends up contributing to a win, its row of stone blockers will be destroyed, creating more ways to win.

This feature can be repeated until a full 6×7 board is unlocked, causing the bonus game mode to be activated with the choice of two features.

Additionally, the bottom stone blocker row can display ‘super bonus’ blocker symbols on random spins. If this row ends up being destroyed, the super bonus feature will be awarded.

When activating the bonus game mode, players can choose between the ‘dig bonus’ and the ‘build bonus’.

The dig bonus awards five spins where every third stone blocker row that is destroyed will award one extra spin.

Each spin will keep the previous spin’s board size, but one blocker row will always be added to the bottom of the board on every spin. This means that there are always four stone blocker rows below the game grid, allowing for a maximum board size of 6×50.

If the board reaches this maximum size, the player will receive the game’s maximum prize of x5,000.

Moreover, dig bonus spins can also cause stone symbols to reveal treasure chests when destroyed, which can award either monetary prize coins, upgrades for existing monetary prize coins, and between one and three added wild symbols.

These treasure chests can also reveal orb symbols. When three orb symbols are collected, players are taken to the super dig bonus game mode, with five additional spins and two extra spins for every destroyed stone blocker row, instead of the usual one extra spin.

For the build bonus game mode, three game rounds are awarded while three symbols drop into an empty six-reel grid on each turn.

The aim of the game is to land a full row of symbols, which will reset the number of spins to three while awarding a payout for each symbol in the row, equal to a three-of-a-kind win for the respective symbol.

Each time a row is filled with symbols, a x1 win multiplier will increase by a value of one before being added to any subsequent wins across the game mode.

If players manage to fill 50 rows with symbols, they will receive the game’s maximum prize of x5,000 their stake.

Bang Bang Reloaded – Booming Games

Booming Games pitted players against menacing outlaws in its latest title, presenting a 5×4 reel slot with 40-paylines and a maximum win of up to x5,200 the player’s wager. This slot uses high volatility with an RTP of 95.8 per cent.

Moritz Blume, Director of Product at Booming Games, stated: “Our first Bang Bang slot was such a hit with players that we wanted to bring a new iteration to this classic game that has proven so popular.

“Bang Bang Reloaded has it all. All the features, exceptional graphics and great soundtrack that players love, all set against a Spaghetti Western backdrop. It’s pure dynamite.”

Bonus sheriff badge scatters can also appear on reels one, three and five, awarding 10 free spins when three land on the same spin.

Additionally, wild gold coins are available on reels two, three and four, substituting for all symbols other than the sheriff badge scatters.

Cascading wins occur throughout this title, causing winning symbols to disappear after providing their payout prizes. These disappearing symbols will make way for new symbols to drop in from the top of the reels, increasing the win potential of each spin.

Additionally, each cascading win that occurs on the same spin will increase a multiplier meter above the reel set, applying multiplier to each subsequent cascading win.

In the base game, this multiplier starts at x1 and builds up to x2, x3 and x5, while in the free spins feature, multipliers start at x3 and build to x6, x9 and x15.

When wild symbols appear in the base game, they will be collected in a treasure chest beside the reel set.

This treasure chest can then randomly activate the big shot wheel feature, where players can spin to win jackpot prizes of minor (x15), major (x100) or grand (x5,000).

Gunpowder – Peter & Sons

Proving to be a popular theme in recent weeks, Peter & Sons walked the plank with its latest swashbuckling slot. This title uses a 5×3 reel board with 10-paylines and a maximum win of up to x10,000 the player’s wager, while having high volatility and an RTP of 96.2 per cent.

Zoe Bird, Senior Product & Program Manager at Yggdrasil, commented: “Peter & Sons games are unmistakable for their incredibly rich design and attention to detail, not only in their animation but in their feature sets too. Gunpowder continues these standards and broadens our YGG Masters game library with another hit.”

Treasure chest scatters can appear, triggering the free spins feature when three or more land on the same turn.

Meanwhile, gold pirate ship wilds can drop into play, substituting for all symbols other than the treasure chest scatters.

Each time a wild appears, one free respin will be awarded where the wild stays sticky on the board.

Additionally, these wilds can randomly shoot at any high value pirate ship symbols that are adjacent to them, causing them to transform into wild symbols. This new wild will cause an additional respin if one has already occurred.

Landing three, four or five scatters on the same spin will award 10, 12 or 15 free spins, respectively. During these free spins, wild symbols will not cause respins, but will stay sticky on the board for the duration of the game mode.

Wilds can also appear with x2 or x3 multipliers in the free spins. Landing one wild on every reel will award five additional spins.

Yann Bautista, Commercial Director & Founder at Peter & Sons, added: “Gunpowder brings the sights and sounds of classic naval battles to the reels. An incredibly fun game, the Phantom Power feature is just one of the highlights that fire a broadside of gameplay into the new slots market. We’re sure it will be the ruler of the high seas.”
