Ahead of SBC Summit Barcelona, CasinoBeats caught up with Bragg Gaming Group’s Commercial Director Matej Nemec to discuss the progress of its studios Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic, along with the Powered by Bragg partner programme.
We also learned what Nemec is looking forward to at September’s Summit, where Bragg will be a Premium Sponsor.
CasinoBeats: Bragg launched Atomic Slot Lab roughly 18 months ago and Indigo Magic following that. Can you give our readers an update on how the studios have been performing and what we can expect from the upcoming roadmap?
Matej Nemec: In January 2022, shortly after the acquisition of Wild Streak Gaming, we made the decision to become more content-led and to start producing proprietary titles. We always had the technology and tools needed, but we were lacking the creative side of it and Wild Streak Gaming gave us the missing piece. We launched our first game, Egyptian Magic, in January 2022 and we have come a long way since then. Atomic Slot Lab has now launched 13 games and Indigo Magic 11, taking the portfolio to 24 proprietary slots.
We are very happy with the adoption rate of the content and the performance has been stellar across numerous key markets, including in what are newer markets for us like the UK and the US. Feedback from our operator partners has shown that our games are in the top 7-13 per cent of new releases this year, which is a fantastic result.
Going forward, our partners can expect a fully-packed roadmap, with at least one release a month from both Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic.
We will also roll out a wide selection of exclusive titles from our Powered by Bragg partners, which include GAMOMAT, Bluberi, and King Show Games. Additionally, we will release the first game from Sega Sammy Creation in November, which we are very excited about!
In total, we are looking at introducing around 60 new exclusive titles a year built and distributed by Bragg.
CB: Fuze is your player engagement tool. How important has this product been for you and your operator partners?
MN: Fuze is one of the most innovative products we have in our armoury, and we are very proud of it.
Fuze offers a state-of-the-art gamification and engagement toolset, designed to enhance the player experience, boost operator KPIs, and increase player lifetime value – all from a single platform. Our partners have reported campaigns that have boosted the number of players by 280 per cent, increased the rounds played by 370 per cent and increased the wagering on exposed games by 250 per cent.
Our unique proposition is that we offer cross-product vertical engagement for both casino and sportsbook, and tools include free rounds, tournaments with real-time leaderboards, quests and achievements.
The product is available with all games delivered via the Bragg Hub content delivery platform, which includes titles from Bragg Studios, Powered by Bragg partners and aggregated games such as those from Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Greentube or Play’n GO. It is also available for integration as a stand-alone product.
CB: You have partnered with numerous leading operators in the year, which ones are you most proud of?
MN: It has been a good year for us from a commercial point of view and we have gone live with several global tier one operators. We launched with PokerStars and bet365 through direct integrations, and as well as delivering games from our in-house studios, we are looking at rolling out third-party content to them.
We have also introduced our content to leading local operators Caliente in Mexico and Adjarabet in Georgia, and have partnered with 99 per cent of the Swiss online casino licence holders. On top of that, we have been busy in Italy, launching with Microgame and SNAITECH, with many more to come.
Furthermore, we are committed to expanding in North America which will be a key market for us going forward, with an aim to become a top five brand in the region in the coming years.
CB: Your PAM/turnkey solution powers several Dutch brands. What has been the key to that success?
MN: The main driver for our success was that our product was market-ready even before the first licences were issued, meaning we could go live on day one. We now power five PAM clients in the Netherlands and all of them are performing strongly in the market. We are the leading B2B platform in the country, holding an estimated market share of around a third.
The success in the highly-regulated Dutch market has given us an opportunity to better approach other compliance-heavy jurisdictions such as the UK, Ontario and Spain, and we keep building on our solution to better support our partners.
CB: What are you looking forward to at SBC Summit Barcelona?
MN: It’s been great to see how quickly the event has grown in just a few years – both in size and the number of delegates. The quality of attendees is always high, and we can meet all the decision makers in one place. The panels offer a lot of insight and the venue and the city are great as well.
The recent success we have had with tier one operators and entering new markets has given us a boost to push further and we will attend the SBC Summit Barcelona with a big commercial team! So make sure to schedule in a meeting ([email protected]) to find out more about how we can support your business.
SBC Summit Barcelona, taking place from September 19-21 at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc, will bring together 15,000 delegates, offering them a platform to delve into the cutting-edge via a dedicated ‘Casino & iGaming Zone.’
