Yggdrasil Gaming has lauded a “landmark year” in which significant increases were reported across the board, as the firm published its Q4 and full year 2017 trading update.

Revealing an increased revenue of 61% to SEK 51.2m (€5.1m), up from SEK 31.8m (€3.2m), FY2017 growth showed at SEK 169.1m (€17m), up 95% on 2016s SEK 86.9m (€8.7m).

EBITDA for the year “improved significantly,” with Yggdrasil highlighting a 42% margin to SEK 71.5m (€7.2m), reflected with a similar profit percentage for Q4, equating to a figure of SEK 21.5m (€2.1m).

Reporting its 2017 highlights, the company notes a a number of significant new licensing agreements, including Pinnacle, Tabcorp and Rank Group, in addition to entries to a number of new key markets.

Completing its positive year Yggdrasil also notes its Revamped technical platform iSENSE2.0+, as well as its addition plans to enter a new vertical with its bingo product.

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil, said: “Looking back at 2017, it has been yet another landmark year for Yggdrasil. Revenue for the year grew to MSEK 169.1, while full year operating profit was up 35 percent to MSEK 58.8. These fantastic results were only possible because of the team we have assembled, and the support of our customers.
