Dutch operator JVH gaming is to buy Flamingo Casino, which consists of 15 slot machine casinos and more than 200 employees, after signing an agreement with its shareholders.
JVH gaming, backed by investment company Waterland, is already the biggest arcade operator in Holland with 66 branches, including brands such as Jack’s Casino and Flash Casinos.
The acquisition of Flamingo not only adds 15 casinos to the portfolio of JVH gaming, but also increases its national coverage because Flamingo has a number of branches in regions where JVH gaming is not active, mainly in North Holland.
After JVH gaming has already significantly increased the number of branches in recent years, partly due to various acquisitions, and this takeover now creates a nationally active entertainment group with 81 branches. The expected continued growth in the gaming sector offers the company sufficient opportunities to further expand its position in the future.
Eric Olders, CEO of JVH gaming, explained: “After the acquisition of 11 Krijco Casinos in 2015 and the recent opening of a number of new branches, we are delighted to be able to add Flamingo Casino to our organisation. Flamingo has always been a highly valued and professional colleague for us and we are very much looking forward to continuing the growth path together.”
Johann Keizer, General Manager of Flamingo Casino, added: “Flamingo Casino is originally a family business and we have now reached a point where it is obvious to join us in a larger company. With JVH gaming we have found a perfect partner to further develop our ambitions and growth opportunities.
“JVH gaming is made up of a multitude of family businesses and has established a leading and financially strong organisation. This acquisition will also offer new opportunities for our employees. I look forward to our cooperation and the opportunities this strong group offers. “
