Pragmatic Play has become the latest developer to confirm its casino content is live in Sweden‘s regulated igaming market.

Games from the Malta-based supplier are now available to licensed operators in the country and already live with leading brands such as PokerStars and Svenska Spel.

Melissa Summerfield, chief commercial officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Expanding in regulated jurisdictions is central to our strategic ambitions, and entering Sweden is a big piece of the puzzle for Pragmatic Play as we continue to move forward.

“We have cemented our standing as a provider that pushes the boundaries with an award-winning portfolio of content, and we look forward to bringing our games to Swedish operators including Svenska Spel.”

Pragmatic has seen significant growth in regulated markets in recent times, signing content deals with operators including PokerStars, Kindred GroupCasumo and ComeOn, while it was also granted a B2B supplier licence in Gibraltar in November.

The developer also acquired live table games provider Extreme Live Gaming from Austrian gaming giant Novomatic in 2018, for an undisclosed sum.
