The Spain-based games developer Red Rake Gaming has been granted a Remote Gambling Software Licence by the UK Gambling Commission, meaning the supplier can offer its content to the UK market.

With an initial collection of titles already tested and certified for the UK technical standards – and with a second batch in the process of being certified – the Spanish company is
confident of success in the UK.

Red Rake is already working with a number of leading online casino operators in a series of regulated markets including its native Spain, as well as Italy, Portugal and Romania.

Nick Barr, managing director for Red Rake in Malta, said: “Acquiring the licences to operate in the UK market is a great step in our regulated strategy for 2019. It will have an immediate impact as many of our customers have UKGC licences and they will be able now to offer our games to their UK player base.

“We are also excited by the opportunities that’s the new licence comes with and can proceed with many of the UK operators who have already requested our content. We are also very proud of obtaining the UK licence as it is testimony to our commitment to responsible gaming and transparency, of which the UKGC has the highest standards.”.
