Kindred “excited and proud” to enter Mohegan Sun Pocono agreement

The Kindred Group has penned a strategic partnership with Pennsylvania’s Mohegan Sun Pocono for an initial five year period, with the possibility for two additional five year extensions also encapsulated.

Under the terms of the agreement Kindred its to offer an online sportsbook and casino experience under its Unibet brand, in addition to occupying a Unibet sports wagering lounge within the property.

“We’ve aligned with one of the best online casino and sportsbook operators in online regulated markets, which will allow us to offer best in class experience to our existing customers as well as attracting new ones,” commented Aviram Alroy, VP of interactive gaming at Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment.

“Introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania.”    

The Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment owned property, located outside Plains, Pennsylvania, hopes that by combining its “full destination experience” with Kindred’s “digital customer experience and data analysis capacity,” is to create “a unique and strong offering” for the Keystone State.

Pennsylvania is set to be the second state that Kindred Group has entered, following its entrance in New Jersey, with the partnership alongside Mohegan Sun Pocono stressed as being part of the company’s process to secure regulatory approval in Pennsylvania.

Kindred Group states that it’s to “continue to invest in growing its US operations where market conditions support a sustainable business model”.
