US gaming technology firm Scientific Games has enhanced its partnership with the Oneida Indian Nation further still, after a third retail sportsbook launch within New York State.

The pair have introduced “the largest sportsbook in New York State” at the Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango, which follows fellow Caesars branded offerings at Turning Stone Resort in Verona and Point Place Casino in Bridgeport.

The expansion of locations where Scientific Games is powering sports betting in the state sees the casino receive the full functionality of OpenSports, the firm’s sports betting technology suite.

Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation representative and Nation Enterprises CEO, said of the new sportsbook launch: “OpenSports is empowering us to give our customers a top-notch betting experience, and we’re thrilled to bring a quality sportsbook technology to our Yellow Brick Road property, New York’s largest sports book.”

The nearly 9,000 square foot venue is designed to accommodate more than 250 sports fans, featuring a custom-built 32-foot LED screen and more than 35 additional large-screen televisions which it hopes will provide “the ultimate viewing experience from any location in the lounge”.

Jordan Levin, group chief executive of SG Digital, commented: “Our partnership with Oneida continues to highlight our strong early presence in New York State. Launching our third casino with Oneida brings a polished and player-centric sportsbook to even more players, and we’re excited to see the continued growth that results from this and further launches.”

Scientific Games recently launched sports wagering in Indiana alongside Caesars entertainment, representing the fifth state within which the partnership has entered.

Debuting retail sportsbook solutions at the Indiana Grand Racing and Casino in Shelbyville at the start of the month, six more Caesars properties in The Hoosier State are also slated to launch this month, rapidly expanding its sports betting presence.
