Maxima Compliance, a full-service regulatory and technical compliance provider for the betting and gaming industry, has expanded its base of operations further still after debuting its new Barcelona hub.

Unveiling the new office to support a “fast growing” team and product range, Maxima stresses that it will enable the firm to focus on providing support for Complitech, its technical compliance database for the igaming sector, as well as other services.

The Barcelona office becomes the third such operation boasted by Maxima, joining its London headquarters and a technical compliance hub established in November 2019 in Conwy, North Wales.

Antonio Zanghi, founder and managing director of Maxima Compliance, said of the development: “A third office has quickly become essential for Maxima Compliance given our rapid growth over the past few months.

“It made sense for us to open a base of operations in mainland Europe as we now work with a wide range of partners from across the continent.

“Since we launched Complitech earlier this year, demand for both the product and our services has increased significantly.

“This office is part of a wider expansion and we will be adding some world-class expertise to our team in the coming months to ensure we maintain our position as the industry’s go-to compliance specialists.”

Complitech is lauded as a “first-of-its-kind technical compliance database” providing the latest requirements from more than 20 online gaming jurisdictions, and issuing the latest product information via its database and analytical tools.

The company states that users can instantly gain information from the database in a range of formats, sorting by product type, requirement type and jurisdiction, with pro and premium able to conduct automated gap analysis, comparing requirements between multiple jurisdictions.
