Playson has enhanced its presence in what it calls a “critical European market,” as the igaming software developer unveils an agreement with Italy-based platform provider Blox Limited.

Under the terms of the agreement, the brand, which is part of Blue Ocean Gaming, is to distribute Playson titles, such as Buffalo Power: Hold and Win, Zeus: Thunder Reels and the recently launched Solar King, across its operator network.

Furthermore, Blox will also deploy the supplier’s integration-free engagement tools, including network tournaments, jackpots and free spins, which have been designed to enhance player retention.

Karl Grech, CCO at Blox Limited, said of the agreement: “We’ve been very impressed with Playson’s high-quality content offering for a long time now, so it’s great to include the provider in our own plans as we look to execute on an ambitious set of objectives for 2021.

“We’re excited to introduce the cutting-edge supplier’s games and promotional features to our clients and have no doubt that its catalogue will continue to be a hit.”

The agreement extends the games studio’s player reach in Italy, where the company secured a string of key operator partnerships during recent weeks and months.

Blanka Homor, sales director at Playson, added: “We are delighted to join forces with Blox Limited in a move which will help our games continue to be enjoyed by an audience that is constantly expanding in Italy and beyond.

“Our critically acclaimed collection of slots, which is complemented by a world class suite of engagement tools, will undoubtedly be well received by the company’s clients and their players.”
