Blair Aronson has joined Conscious Gaming as operations director, becoming the group’s second full time employee, where she will work to successfully recruit and onboard new PlayPause members and deliver on shared goals and priorities.
Aronson will be responsible for the management, scaling and optimisation of PlayPause, working with gaming operators, state regulators, sports leagues and platform providers.
Furthermore, she will also serve in a chief of staff capacity for the group within the service delivery and operations teams, helping with the continual improvements on the structure and process of customer-facing teams as we grow.
She joins after spending the past three years as the director of customer success in the Americas for SGDigital, before which a five year stint was enjoyed with the NYX Gaming Group as the director of operations. The latter was subsequently acquired by Scientific Games in 2018.
At the independent non-profit established by the founders of GeoComply, Aronson will report to vice president of corporate social responsibility and communications Seth Palansky.
“I am thrilled Anna has offered me the opportunity to work alongside her in an organization with such an important mission,” said Aronson. “The online gaming business is growing rapidly and the need to modernize and strengthen responsible gaming will be critical to its success.
“I look forward to continuing the relationships I have built throughout my career to help roll out the PlayPause technology.”
Conscious Gaming works with gaming operators, regulators, sports leagues, suppliers, responsible gaming advocacy groups, academics and treatment professionals to better protect consumers and enhance responsible gaming and sport integrity programs.
“As we continue to make progress with PlayPause, it was important to add someone with Blair’s skillset to ensure proper implementation of the technology for our clients,” noted Anna Sainsbury, Conscious Gaming trustee.
“She has a wealth of experience, knowledge and relationships that as we continue to grow, will help us deliver on our promise to protect consumers.”
