Delasport is set to enter the Romanian betting and gaming market to offer its fully managed services solutions, having acquired a Class 2 licence.

First regulated in 2015, the Romanian betting and gambling sector has become a key target of various local and international operators, including SuperBet, Betfair, 888 Holdings, Wazdan and Kindred Group, among others, establishing footholds in the country.

After successfully securing its Class 2 licence, Gibraltar-headquartered Delasport will now supply its Sports iFrame solution to Romanian B2C operators, conducting a fast plug and play implementation of the product.

The solution serves as a ‘stand alone, fully functional platform’ offering fully managed services and ‘comprehensive operator control’ over client operations.

Additionally, the firm will supply its ‘full turnkey solution’ of sports betting, casino, live casino, payments and affiliations, among other offerings.

‘’We are rapidly expanding our global reach and entering the Romanian market is a natural step for us.” said Oren Cohen Shwartz, newly appointed CEO of Delasport.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide our high-end sports betting and casino solutions to Romanian sports and casino operators. The Romanian market is growing fast, and there is a real need for quality products. Delasport’s plug and play sportsbook iFrame solution is fully equipped to support its partners to go live fast, thrive and grow.”

The agreement builds on previous partnerships struck by DelaSport this year as the operator moves forward with its commercial strategy, having signed deals with Real Dealer Studios and Play’n Go.
