Jada Gaming

Jada Gaming has said that it is looking to step up its “expansive growth strategy,” after confirming the appointment of Louis Gonzalez as its Head of Sales & Commercial.

In the role, Gonzalez will be tasked with leading the Jada Gaming’s sales, business development, and marketing activities

Alberto Alfieri, Jada Gaming Co-Founder, noted: “Louis’ impressive igaming experience will be an invaluable addition to the business as we build on our initial momentum. 

“Jada has an extremely healthy commercial pipeline and Louis will play an integral part in delivering on our ambitious growth goals.”

Betsson

Betsson has confirmed the appointment of Roland Glasfors as Vice President of Corporate Communications, Sustainability and Investor Relations.

He joins the firm’s executive leadership team from payments and open banking systems provider Trustly, and also boasts prior industry experience at NetEnt, having led investor relationships and stakeholder management.

Betsson disclosed that Glasfors will begin his role on May 2, and will form part of CEO Pontus Lindwall’s executive management team.

Lindwall communicated: “Roland’s extensive experience from capital markets and work in investor relations will be a great asset for us

“His experience from the gaming sector is yet another advantage. With Roland onboard, we can continue to further sharpen our communications and accelerate the pace of our sustainability work.”

Racing Victoria

Andrew Jones has been appointed as Chief Executive of Racing Victoria, with the racing sanctioning body looking to maintain momentum on the growth of the sport.

Moving forward, Jones has detailed a key objective of expanding the fan base of racing in the state, while also boosting revenues, social licence and investment in sustainability. 

In order to achieve this goal, Jones says that he plans to “work diligently” with Victorian racing clubs in addition to participants in the sport, government authorities and commercial and media partners.

Entain

The board of Entain has confirmed that Peter Isola has chosen not to renew his duties as a Non-Executive Director of the group

As a result, Isola has chosen to end his six-year tenure as a corporate advisor of Entain on March 21, 2022, to focus on new opportunities.

The executive joined Entain’s board in 2016 and held governance oversight positions on the firm’s Audit, Remuneration and ESG Committees.

During his NED tenure, Isola’s provided Entain’s executive leadership team with legal guidance on the firm’s merger with Bwin.Party Entertainment (2015/2016) and its subsequent transformative takeover of Ladbrokes Coral (2018).

Commenting on Isola’s departure, Barry Gibson, Chair of Entain, noted: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution and commitment to Entain over the last six years. We wish him well for the future.”
