Jérôme-Olivier Falcon has become Chief Executive Officer of Moobifun, where he will be charged with building on past experience at the likes of Unibet and PokerStars to drive the group forward.

In the role he will be charged with expanding the igaming solutions provider from a “fantastic foundation”, with Africa highlighted as a key target, while also delivering responsible gaming experiences.

This, said Moobifun, will be achieved for players, customers and partners by utilising automated and intelligent monitoring tools, from the game, to payments, acquisition and loyalty marketing.

“After co-founding and building Moobifun over a 13 year period, I feel it is the right time to pass the reins to Jerome to steer the business through the next hugely exciting chapter,” said Santiago Mosquera, Moobifun Co-founder.

“The company is in a terrific position of strength following the private investment raised and is a true leader in gaming technology solutions in Africa.

“Jérôme-O Falcon has a wealth of experience from his ante and post-regulation career in mature markets, as well as his achievements with premium gaming operators like Unibet, Ladbrokes and Stars Group.”

Furthermore, Falcon will be tasked with entering into an array of fresh commercial tie-ups that will play “an integral role in amplifying the business”. It is hoped that revenue will double during H1 2023, with turnover tripling by the culmination of that same year.

It is added that Falcon will also be responsible for the implementation of a “flexible organisation framework” that will look to improve Moobifun’s ability to address new markets and territories. This, the company said, will utilise AI prediction tools to optimise marketing and retention strategies.

Additional core areas of focus include amplifying the company’s suite of gaming tech tools, rolling out further localised payment solutions and securing “major sports sponsorships” with the aim of driving additional engagement.

“I’m honoured to join Moobifun as CEO and cannot wait to get working on elevating the company to even greater heights,” Falcon stated.

“Moobifun has rightly earned a stellar reputation thanks to its unrivalled localised knowledge of the African gaming space.

“An ability to anticipate and meet the needs of gaming, telecom operators and regulators has been achieved through its proprietary technological services.”
