Spin Genie & Mohegan swell Ontarian market with coinciding launches

Spin Genie and Mohegan Digital have both announced the launch of their online casino platforms in Ontario, following the province’s regulation entering into force earlier this year.

The Spin Genie igaming hub is to be made available to players within the Canadian region, operating on its parent company SkillOnNet’s platform in a bid to give players “the ultimate casino experience on all devices”.

“Spin Genie was created with the user experience at the core of our development and we’re excited to launch in Ontario’s new online gambling market for Ontarians to enjoy the same fun and entertainment of a real casino streamed to their device of choice,” explained Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing for Prime Gaming, which launched Spin Genie via SkillOnNet two years ago.

Through this deal, Ontario’s players have access to Spin Genie’s complete catalogue of aggregated slots, table games, instant win games and live game shows, integrated from a number of global suppliers including NetEnt, Red Tiger, Pragmatic Play and Microgaming.

In addition to these titles, the province’s consumer base can gain access to the group’s responsible gaming and enhanced player protection tools such as SafeMate, which helps users keep track of how much money and time they’ve spent on the website.

Simultaneously, Mohegan Digital has taken a slightly different approach to launch PlayFallsView, a digital gaming experience for the Loyalist Province’s established land-based Fallsview Casino Resort, in conjunction with Kambi and Pala Interactive.

“We’re thrilled to be launching playfallsview.com with the help of some of the most powerful technology in the industry,” stated Todd Stender, Director of Product for Mohegan.

“Our partnerships with Pala Interactive and Kambi’s powerful sports betting platform has allowed us to deliver a full suite of the best casino content.

“We’re excited to be offering the top slot games our customers know and love, in addition to live dealer games via Evolution, and expanded sports wagering content powered by Kambi.”

Fallsview Casino is the largest gaming resort facility in the country, making it one of the “most recognisable gaming brands” in Canada. Mohegan’s newly developed platform will act as the resort’s mobile sportsbook brand as it looks to take its services online.

These two entities are not the only brands delving into the recently regulated market, as Sports Venture Holdings took its Bet99 brand live in the province at the start of the month.
