Svenska Spel has launched its new online poker room on the iPoker Network, the flagship poker solution of Playtech Plc.
The agreement sees Svenska Spel expand its igaming partnership with Playtech, which since 2019 has served as lead solutions supplier for the operator’s casino and live gaming offerings.
Upgrading its poker room, Svenska Spel will benefit from increased liquidity offered by the iPoker Network, which pools players from the tier-1 operators of bet365, Betfair, William Hill and Betsson.
Technical upgrades will see Svenska Spel’s new poker room enhanced with a new mobile and improved desktop application for players.
Marat Koss, VP of interactive gaming at Playtech, said the business was “delighted” to be expanding its partnership with Svenska Spel. The executive also praised the agreement for increasing its footprint in Sweden.
