With comings and goings commonplace across the industry, Allwyn, MediaTroopers and Strive Gaming are among those to have bolstered their teams.

Strive Gaming

Strive Gaming has appointed Tommaso Di Chio as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, where he will be tasked with navigating the intricate landscape of regulatory compliance and laws to oversee legal matters in North America and worldwide.

In addition, he will also be charged with spearheading efforts to grow and strengthen the platform provider’s legal and compliance teams, with the company aiming to unlock further opportunities across North America.

He joins Strive Gaming from Kambi where he held senior legal and compliance roles over a nine-year tenure, rising up the ranks to become SVP of Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance and Group Deputy General Counsel.

“The legal and regulatory landscape in North America continues to evolve at pace so it’s vital that we have a team of highly experienced specialists to help navigate these often-choppy waters,” commented Max Meltzer, CEO at Strive Gaming.

“In Tommaso, we have the perfect person to oversee all legal and compliance activity at Strive, and to lead and grow our teams. This is an important hire for us and will help us to continue to strengthen our position as the leading PAM provider in North America and beyond.”

Konami Gaming

Konami Gaming has disclosed a number of internal promotions within its sales leadership teams. This has seen Josh Faish and Justin Torres each transition to Director of Sales positions.

As a result, the pair will be tasked with shaping professional development, growth success strategies and customer relations.

AS well as this, Caroline Byne, Jeff Fuller, and Rick Tribble have advanced to roles as Director of Business Development. They will place a focus on growth opportunities for select strategic markets and customer segments.

“Konami is pleased to highlight these key internal promotions to further strengthen our close ties with casino customers and better serve diverse markets,” said Jay Bertsch, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming.

“The combined experience within our games and systems sales teams is truly exceptional, and we look forward to continuing to grow Konami’s product reach through strengthened leadership from longtime industry professionals Josh Faish, Justin Torres, Caroline Byne, Jeff Fuller, and Rick Tribble.”

Allwyn UK

Andria Vidler has begun her tenure as CEO of Allwyn UK, as the British-facing division of the cross-European lottery operator prepares to take on National Lottery licensing duties.

Allwyn is set to become National Lottery operator on February 1, 2024, having unseated and later acquired Camelot UK, which had been the sole operator of the lottery since the product’s inception in 1993.

As CEO of the group’s UK operation, Vidler’s chief responsibility has been detailed as increasing good causes funds over the 10 year licence period – good causes having been a major talking point during the contest for the fourth licence.

“I am extremely excited to finally start my role at Allwyn! My ambition is to ensure that The National Lottery is in the best shape possible for the future,” she remarked.

“This means, a National Lottery that is played across the nation, that will grow returns to Good Causes, and that provides better games, enjoyed by people responsibly and safely.

“I can’t wait to get to work alongside partners and colleagues from across our Allwyn and Camelot teams to make this vision a reality.”

MediaTroopers

MediaTroopers has disclosed that Co-Founder and COO, Benjamin Truman, has exited the company in order to pursue new opportunities.

During his tenure, Truman is praised as aiding the company’s expansion from a handful of states in 2021 to over two dozen, including Washington DC and Ontario, at the start of the current year.

“It’s hard to say goodbye to a colleague and friend who has become such an integral part of the MediaTroopers team. Ben has left an incredible impact on the company that we will feel long after he leaves,” commented Shmulik Segal, the CEO and Co-Founder of MediaTroopers.

“I’d like to thank him for his dedication, passion, and service to our company. His dependable work ethic and fearless leadership have guided us through our ups and downs, and it has been an honour to work alongside him and learn from his generosity and commitment. Ben, you will always be a part of the MediaTroopers family.”
