With comings and goings commonplace across the industry, BetterOff, Mohegan and Inspired Entertainment are among those to have bolstered their teams.

Inspired Entertainment

Ian Freeman has been named as Chief Commercial Officer of Virtuals of Inspired Entertainment, effective immediately.

In the role, he will be charged with driving innovation, delivery, and growth of this aforementioned range of products for the company.

Past experience include a five-year tenure at Kambi, in addition to serving as Vice President Global Business Development & Commercial at IGT PlayDigital. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Revenue Officer for FSBTech.

Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil has appointed Alex Haywood as Managing Director of its Polish entity, where he will be tasked with building on 20 years of experience to lead the group’s tech advancement.

In addition, and in line with a strategic restructuring, Mark McGinley will transition to Chief Product Officer from his current position as Chief Gaming Officer. Here, he will lead the company’s games portfolio and Masters studio programme.

Mohegan

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority disclosed that Chief Financial Officer Carol Anderson has notified the company that she does not intend to renew her employment contract, which is set to conclude on March 31, 2024.

“Carol’s commitment to the Mohegan organisation has been evident in the strategic decisions and leadership she has displayed throughout her tenure,” noted James Gessner Jr, Chair of the Mohegan Tribe.

BetComply

BetComply has announced the immediate appointment of Daniel Brookes as Interim CEO of the igaming multi-jurisdiction compliance advisory.

An expert in business compliance for igaming firms, Brookes joins BetComply from online security and ID solutions provider Rdentify, where he served as CEO since 2019.

Brookes is the former Chief Operations Officer of online gambling platform and solutions supplier Betable (2019 to 2023). Further industry experience has seen him serve as Director of Compliance at ActiveWin Media.

Acres Technology

David Bain has been named as Chief Financial Officer of Acres Technology, following 25 years as a senior research analyst and managing director of corporate finance at several investment banks.

His gaming and leisure capital markets expertise includes what is billed as “extensive and well-followed research” on the slot and gaming equipment supply sector.

BettorOff has announced that experienced gaming executive Kip Levin has joined its advisory board.

The sports betting social media and AI platform noted that Levin will help spearhead the next phase of its growth as it aims to cater to sports betting communities with “full transparency and accountability of picks”.
