SBC Summit Latinoamérica: A hub of burgeoning opportunities

SBC Summit Latinoamérica

The 2023 edition of SBC Summit Latinoamérica will witness a remarkable threefold increase from last year’s event attendance as 3,000 delegates are set to converge at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Miami from October 31 to November 2.

The exhibition and conference specifically designed for igaming and sports betting professionals with a Latin American emphasis will play host to influential decision-makers from regional and global operators, affiliates and suppliers as well as regulators, media, and sports teams representatives.

The event will serve as a platform for in-depth conversations concerning business opportunities in the region, informed by the prevailing regulatory landscapes in key markets such as Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Argentina, among others. Additionally, it will shed light on both current and future industry trends that are reshaping the dynamics of the diverse Latin American markets.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC said: “I am extremely proud to see that SBC Summit Latinoamérica has emerged as the central hub for collaborative discussions and forward-thinking approaches for the region.

“Given the multitude of evolving markets in Latin America, it is pivotal that we cultivate an environment where delegates can capitalize on existing opportunities and contribute to the dynamic development and expansion of an exceptionally fruitful region.”

Spanning November 1 and November 2, the core event days will see the conference agenda divided across three simultaneous rooms. It will include various dedicated tracks, covering leadership, sports betting products, emerging markets and technology, sports teams and media, payments and compliance, affiliates and advertising, and player protection.

November 1 marks the start of the agenda with an impactful keynote fireside chat. The conversation will feature Julio Cesar Tamayo, CEO of WPlay, in a discussion with Dr. Evert Montero Cárdenas, President of Fecoljuegos. Together, they will analyse the industry’s role in the global economy, shedding light on its susceptibility to political and economic changes and its potential to drive increased value within communities.

Kicking off the second day, November 2, the opening keynote will feature BetWarrior CEO Zeno Ossko and Mariano Zabaleta, former professional tennis player and current VP of the Argentine Tennis Association. Their discussion will delve into the intricate connections between operators and sports teams and associations, with a specific focus on BetWarrior’s sponsorship arrangements with the Argentine Football and Tennis Associations.

The conference schedule, delivered by over 150 speakers, will address pivotal topics, including strategies for capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the Brazilian market as regulations evolve, the establishment of trust within Latin American markets, effective entry strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of the key principles for successful customer acquisition and retention in Latin America.

It will also explore how the digital domain can draw insights from land-based industry leaders, the collaborative potential of the industry with sports teams to expand its outreach, the development of esports in the region, navigating existing advertising restrictions, and a series of panels dedicated to player protection, among numerous other vital subjects.

The exhibition floor will feature a line-up of 70 exhibitors, including operators such as Betcris, Bet7k, and Condor Gaming, top-tier affiliates such as Better Collective, MediaTroopers, KeyAffiliates, and BETANDEAL, leading game providers like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Pascal Gaming, Barbara Bang, and Red Rake Gaming, along with sportsbook software providers that includes the likes of Altenar and Betby. Additionally, other solution providers will be present to showcase their latest products and offerings to the event’s attendees.
