Polish betting and gaming firm STS has united with Dimoco Payments to elevate its user experience.

Through collaborating with the Austrian mobile transactions provider, the firm is targeting a ‘significant transformation’ for Polish igaming.

Integral to the plans is enhancing carrier billing in a bid to strengthen payment innovation throughout the nationwide betting market.

Bettina Sommer, Senior Vice-President of Sales at DIMOCO Payments, commented: “With more and more people making bets on their mobile devices, allowing them to pay with them is the logical next step. With STS now offering carrier billing to its users, it cements its relevance in the igaming market.”

STS has grown to become a market leader in Polish betting and gaming, recording year-on-year revenue growth of 17% from PLN 296m (€64.5m) to PLN 346m (€75m) in its H1 2023 results.

The company looks to update its payments capabilities during a transformational period in its operating history as it is integrated into the international portfolio of global operator Entain, which acquired the firm earlier this year in a takeover worth around £750m

Mateusz Juroszek, STS CEO, added on the deal: “This partnership with DIMOCO Payments highlights our innovative spirit, which is what has consistently set us apart from other brands in Poland.

“We are a modern operator, which has built its position on the Polish market with numerous investments in technology, products based on proprietary solutions, and cooperation with leading suppliers.”

It also underlines that after a period of significant growth, the operator isn’t resting on its laurels and is looking to evolve the player experience.
