Thunderkick’s hammer strikes down to clinch Slot of the Week

Thunderkick whipped up a storm in its recent slot release as lightning struck the reels with enhanced hammer wins in 12 Bolts of Thunder, SlotBeats’ latest Slot of the Week selection.

Using a 5×4 reel board that has 20-paylines, 12 Bolts of Thunder offers a maximum win of up to x30,000 the chosen stake, as players hope to land lightning hammers on the board for enhanced instant wins. The slot uses high volatility with an RTP of 96.15 per cent.

Mike Collins, Product Owner at Thunderkick, commented: “Lightning is set to strike in 12 Bolts of Thunder, our new slot that invites players to climb the hammer paytable towards monumental wins.

“With plenty of exciting features such as the aforementioned Hammer pay system, alongside a powerful bonus game with chances to boost multipliers up to x30,000 your bet, this is the first of many dynamic and forward-thinking titles from Thunderkick this year.”

Special lightning bolt hammers can drop into play on reels two, three and four, awarding instant prizes for the number of hammers that appear on the same spin.

In the base game, players can win between x2 their stake for four hammers on the same spin, to x1,000 their stake for 12 hammers. These prizes can be enhanced in the free spins game mode.

Bonus door scatters are also available, triggering the free spins feature when three or more land on the same spin. Landing three, four or five door scatters on the same turn will award six, nine or 12 free spins, respectively.

In the free spins feature, landing four or more hammers on the same spin will not only award an instant win, but will cause the hammer paytable to become enhanced, removing the lowest multiplier for four hammers while improving the highest multiplier for 12 hammers.

This can occur up to five times, allowing for the highest multiplier to reach x30,000. Each time a hammer win causes the hammer paytable to upgrade, three extra spins will be added to the free spins counter.

Landing four or five scatters in a base game spin to trigger the bonus game mode will cause the feature to begin with an upgraded hammer paytable.

Finally, wild W symbols are available, substituting for all symbols other than the door scatters and lightning bolt hammers.
