The cryptocurrency casino sector has increased its engagement with the MMA industry after Stake.com and Lucky Block both announced sponsorship deals within the sport.

Firstly, Stake revealed a partnership with the sport’s largest promotion, the UFC, targeting the Asian online casino market in a regional sponsorship agreement.

The collaboration will see Stake ‘improve UFC’s betting experience’ on its proprietary platform by offering exclusive promotions and VIP experiences, while producing exclusive social and digital content featuring UFC athletes.

Nick Smith, UFC Vice President of Global Partnerships, stated: “We’re thrilled to partner with an exciting and emerging brand like Stake to offer exclusive digital and social content to our fans, as well as an innovative gaming experience.

“UFC prides itself on being innovators, and Stake is a unique way for fans to experience the action and excitement of UFC.”

Outside of UFC and MMA, Stake has sought to build up brand visibility in Latin America via a recent partnership with Brazilian football club Juventude, becoming the side’s main shirt sponsor.

“All of us at Stake are massive UFC enthusiasts,” a company statement read. “We are excited to collaborate with such a dominant brand to deliver a one-of-a-kind betting experience and accelerate our global expansion.”

Meanwhile, fellow crypto casino Lucky Block, which launched just last year, also initiated an UFC-focused sponsorship deal by partnering with former UFC middleweight champion and current pundit Michael Bisping.

“We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of UFC icon Michael Bisping,” said Damian Jacobs, Lucky Block Community and Growth Manager.

“We believe this deal will be a powerful catalyst as we embark on the next leg of our journey to lead crypto gaming’s conquest of the online sports entertainment and betting industry.

“This partnership shows that Lucky Block can mix it up with the other industry leaders. Our sponsorship of Michael Bisping shows we understand the importance of developing and exploiting the brand projection potential at the intersection between the sports domain and the disruptive power of crypto betting.”
