Tropicana Entertainment has appointed Christopher Capra as vice president of online and internet marketing, with responsibility for all online gaming marketing efforts.

Capra’s role will include managing campaigns and growing player databases for Tropicana’s social casino, TropWorld.com, and for real-money gaming at TropicanaCasino.com.

“We are excited to welcome Chris to the team at Tropicana Entertainment,” said Tony Rodio, president and chief executive officer for Tropicana Entertainment.

“I am confident his proven track record will contribute greatly to efforts to bring our casino players more offers, more rewards and more choices to their online gaming experience.”

In 11 years in the online and land-based gaming industry, Capra has worked and consulted with start-ups and large companies including PokerStars, Prima Poker, All America Poker Network and WinView Games.

Tropicana’s real-money online casino launched in NJ in 2013, to date paying out more than $3.1bn to online players.
