A subsidiary of Leisure and Resorts World has purchased a 23-hectare site in Boracay, an island in the Philippines, to build the island’s first integrated gaming resort in partnership with Galaxy Entertainment, reports Inquirer.net.

In a statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange, LRW said it expected Galaxy would receive a provisional licence from regulator PAGCOR this month, at which time construction would commence.

The property is located at Barangay Manoc-Manoc, which is located on the south end of Boracay island.
