Malta-based gaming content specialist Booming Games has appointed Oleh Lohaziak to the position of senior game developer.
Commenting in a LinkedIn post, Booming Games CEO Max Niehusen wrote: “We are in the process of scaling up as an organisation, and the addition of top game developers such as Oleh is paramount.
“I’m thrilled to welcome him to our Booming team.”
”It is a pleasure for me to work with such an actively growing organisation as Booming Games,” added Lohaziak.
“I am excited to implement the great ideas the company has. The high level of teamwork and technological sophistication allows us to raise the bar and over-perform on a daily basis. This for me, as a game developer, is the core of a great company.”
Lohaziak’s appointment adds to the list of experienced industry professionals taht have joined Booming Games in recent months, with the company already having attracted top people from Betsson, Playtech, Scientific Games, NetEnt and Yggdrasil Gaming.
Just last month, Booming appointed Shane Cotter as director of its product division. Cotter joined from NetEnt, where he was head of product management for four years, having spent a prior two years in the developer’s product team. He has also clocked up five years with Betfair.
Chief executive Niehusen set out the company’s ambitious growth plans earlier this year, after Booming Games’ new flagship title Golden Royals had been unveiled at ICE 2018 in London.
