WeAreCasino chief commercial officer Christian Maglia lauded this year’s inaugural CasinoBeats Summit, which took place in London last month, revealing the firm is on the brink of securing four key deals off the back of the event.
Benefiting from a strong presence and a meeting room at the Summit, Maglia detailed that the supplier was further boosted by positive talks with Spinmatic, BeFee, 1X2Network and SpiffGaming at the event.
The CCO also outlined that WeAreCasino’s attendance at the Summit has bolstered the company’s continued plans for expansion into new markets, as it presented ideas and exchanged proposals with “top names in the industry”.
WeAreCasino’s director of sales, Marko Jelen, who has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, spoke on a hugely engaging panel at the Summit. The session – which included Nortbert Mathies, CEO of one of WeAreCasino’s new partners Spinmatic – mapped out the current climate for slots brands and whether they’re optimising the cross-sell opportunity in order to migrate those brands to live and table products.
Maglia emphasised to CasinoBeats: “It was very important for us to have a strong presence at the Summit, especially Marko sharing a stage with speakers from a range of leading operators and suppliers including Royal Panda, LeoVegas, Jackpotjoy, Hard Rock, BetOlimp, GVC, Olympic, Letsbet, Twin, Alea and Betsson among others.

“Not only did we pen various deals in London, we also have an announcement incoming which we made in collaboration with Marius Filip, about the imminent release of a custom slot game, which WeAreCasino developed with and for BetZest.com, an MGA and UKGC licensed operator.
“We’ve worked hard during the last few months at this simple but compelling concept of slot games and we will soon have the pleasure of seeing it online on BetZest.com site.”
Looking ahead, Maglia admitted he’s already eagerly awaiting next year’s Summit: “I’m sure that the Summit will grow exponentially, both in terms of panels and the exhibition space.
“We have seen this growth with both Betting on Football and Betting on Sports, I’m sure this can be replicated with the CasinoBeats Summit.”
