Casinobarcelona.es, the online platform of Casino Barcelona, is to offer players slots from Malta-based casino content developer Pragmatic Play.

Licensed by Spain’s National Gambling Commission, Casinobarcelona.es can offer all games on its quickly growing platform to a large local customer base.

Pragmatic Play suite of content, of more than 100 HTML5 video slots including the hit Wolf Gold, will go live with Casinobarcelona.es for the first time.

Melissa Summerfield, chief commercial officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “We are delighted to continue to enhance our footprint in Spain after agreeing this deal with Casinobarcelona.es.

“We are always looking to grow in regulated markets, and we are very pleased that this deal with Casinobarcelona.es is the latest in a long line of agreements that we have signed in Spain this year.”

Xavier Ballester, director of Casino Barcelona Online, added: “Pragmatic Play are consistently producing engaging and immersive content, by its thematic and with high-quality production levels, to both online and land-based casino players.

“Also, Pragmatic Play games have proven to be a hit in other international markets. So, by the signature of that agreement, we hope to enjoy a long and successful partnership with them.”

The news comes after Pragmatic Play entered the live casino vertical earlier this year,  through its acquisition of Extreme Live Gaming from Novomatic Group.
