Revamped Palms Casino to mark KAOS launch with Cardi B residency

Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, currently undergoing a $690m overhaul, will in April open a new entertainment experience, KAOS, which the venue hopes will “completely redefine the daylife and nightlife experience in Las Vegas”.

KAOS, which comprises a 29,000sq.ft nightclub and 73,000sq.ft “dayclub”, will feature exclusive residencies with leading artists, alongside state-of-the art audio, video and lighting technology and dramatic design and art elements.

The first names confirmed for KAOS residencies include hip-hop queen Cardi B, as well as English electronic music trio Above & Beyond, rapper and producer G-EAZY, singer-songwriter Kaskade; and DJ and producer Skrillex, with more headliner residency announcements to follow.

“The opening of KAOS is a cornerstone element in our plan to return Palms to its rightful status as the premier gaming and entertainment destination in Las Vegas for both residents and tourists alike,” said Jon Gray, general manager for the property.

“To assist us in that effort, we have assembled a world-class operations team, partnered with the biggest names across a variety of music genres, and designed and developed a next-level entertainment experience that will change the club landscape across the globe.”

The launch of KAOS is a key element of the complete overall of the property, which opened in 2001, following its acquisition by Station Casinos in 2016.

The entertainment venue includes designs from the award-winning Friedmutter Group and the acclaimed Rockwell, while the dayclub is home to a 65-foot bronze sculpture by British artist Damien Hirst entitled, Demon with Bowl (2014).
