Casino content supplier Scientific Games has announced that its SG Digital group has entered into a fresh agreement with Swedish gambling operator Svenska Spel.
Successfully delivering its casino and bingo platforms to Svenska Spel for the launch of Sweden’s newly re-regulated online gaming market, the company states that it’s “further solidifying” its position within the country, which has content launched “with more than 50 brand partners across the region.”
Adding that it is “delivering an agile and responsible service to its latest partner to the meet the requirements of the new regulatory framework set out by the Swedish Gambling Authority,” the Spelinspektionen.
Dylan Slaney, SVP gaming at SG Digital, explained: “We’re thrilled to be working alongside Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, and together we will take them to the next level in this exciting regulated marketplace.
“Following a quick and simple integration, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino were ready to go live with one of the most comprehensive casino and bingo offerings available, in line with the new regulatory framework being introduced.”
Following integration, Svenska Spel went live at the turn of the new year with the SG Digital open platform system, open gaming system and bingo solution.
As a result the company “now has access to a large portfolio of casino titles from SG Digital’s in-house games studios,” in addition to a selection from third-party developers.
