Las Vegas headquartered casino developer and operator Full House Resorts has announced the promotion of Baxter Lee, who has been appointed general manager of its Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

Lee is set to transfer from the organisation’s Silver Slipper Casino and Hotel in Hancock County, Mississippi, where he previously served as director of sales, marketing and hotel operations.

Pending the necessary regulatory approval Lee is to replace Marc Murphy, who has held the GM role at the property since first opening in 1991, but earlier this year revealed his intention to retire at the end of May.

Lee began his casino career more than 22 years ago with the Lady Luck Gaming Corporation in Natchez, Mississippi, whilst also holding various senior management positions in marketing and operations for both Lady Luck and Isle of Capri Casinos, before joining the Silver Slipper approximately seven years ago.

Daniel Lee, president and chief executive officer of Full House Resorts, said of the appointment: “We will miss Marc, who has built up the Bronco Billy’s business since its inception. When we acquired Bronco Billy’s approximately three years ago, he promised that he would stay on for two years. He stayed for three and we are appreciative of his efforts.

“At the same time, I am excited to promote Baxter to General Manager. Baxter is a unique and talented member of the Full House team. At Silver Slipper, he has overseen marketing for the past seven years, including the launch of numerous amenities, such as its hotel, the Silver Slipper Beach Club, and the Oyster Bar.

“He has directly overseen its 129-guest room hotel since its opening in 2015. Baxter’s experience will serve Bronco Billy’s well, as it prepares to undergo its own significant expansion. He will do an excellent job leading Bronco Billy’s into its new future.”
