Mobile-focused gaming technology platform and services provider Nektan has launched a new mobile-first bingo product, which is now available across its white label network of casino sites.

Expanding its product offering further still, the new product has been supplied by Pragmatic Play and has been specifically built for mobile play where it provides an in-game lobby, featuring a range of mini games to enjoy alongside the community bingo games.

Striving to enhance its growing portfolio as a result of the new launch, the company states that via the development it demonstrates an “investment in its products to support the commercial ambitions of all its operators and white label partners, by appealing to all player segments and preferences across the globe”.

Jane Ryan, chief operating officer of Nektan, commented: “The launch of bingo allows our partners to attract and acquire new player segments, as well as giving our current players more content choice.

“The large majority of our players are on smartphones and we’re confident that the mobile-specific UX and in-game lobby will drive increased mobile traffic. We look forward to delivering incremental gaming revenue to existing white label casino partners as well as working with new bingo-focused partners.”

Earlier this week Nektan issued a pre-close trading update, where it delivered significant revenue growth while falling short of its forecast of tipping in profit this summer.

In its statement, Nektan said it expected to deliver “year-on-year, double-digit revenue growth” in the financial year to June 30, 2019, and “a significantly reduced EBITDA loss in FY19 compared to the previous year.”

The company said its target of achieving EBITDA break even this year “will not be achieved due to the slower trends experienced in Q3 continuing into Q4, with a number of factors impacting first-time deposits and deposits, including the continued effect of increasing UK regulations around player marketing and verification.”
