Slots and table games provider Habanero has continued in its ambition to significantly expand its global reach after adding a further distribution agreement to its ranks, this time alongside Playtech.

As a result of the new partnership the firm is to provide its entire portfolio of content to the omni-channel gaming company via its open platform.

“Playtech boasts some of the industry’s very best content aggregation technology and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” stated Arcangelo Lonoce, european head of business development at Habanero

“Their vast array of operators will help us reach more players than ever before and we look forward to impressing them with our vast portfolio. It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Habanero team as we expand globally.”

The deal sees Habanero’s entire suite of more than 100 slots, 13 table games and 10 video poker offerings made available to licensees on the Playtech open platform, which supports operators on any channel or device.

This means that brands signed up to POP will have access to titles such as Colossal Gems, Nuwa, Lucky, Mount Mazuma and 5 Lucky Lions, as well as baccarat, roulette and video poker games.

James Frendo, director of casino at Playtech, added: “Habanero creates some of the most engaging and exciting titles in the industry and we are delighted to have access to their full portfolio of slots and table games.

“It’s important that we continue to offer operators content of the highest quality and this partnership will ensure we do that. We look forward to working with Habanero to achieve its goals.”

Habanero has entered a number of similar agreements in recent weeks alongside the likes of BetVictor, TOPsport and most recently Betzest.

The latter lauded the partnership as “another significant step” amid ongoing expansion, as the organisation stressed that further agreements with game providers will be rolled out during the final quarter of the year.
