In a move which will reflect its upcoming transition to Rivers Casino Philadelphia, SugarHouse Casino has completed its $5m revamp of its new BetRivers Sportsbook.
The new sportsbook comes as Rush Street Interactive announced a series of upgrades which, together with a previous $164m expansion three years ago, is said to continue a property wide transformation, bringing the establishment in line with other Rush Street properties.
The BetRivers Sportsbook includes an all-new 5,700-square-foot space which will feature a viewing area alongside club chairs and table seating for approximately 115 guests and a state-of-the-art 56.5-foot by 10.5-foot LED central monitor which will be accompanied by eight additional 80-inch flat-screens.
The sportsbook also includes 22 self-service betting kiosks and six betting windows. Food and beverage service, including text-to-order menus, is available.

As part of the upgrades, SugarHouse Casino’s mobile and online sportsbook and casino, PlaySugarHouse.com, will also transition to BetRivers.com in Pennsylvania which is hoped will complement the existing brick-and-mortar facilities.
A new BetRivers.com sports lounge was also launched at the Wells Fargo Center, alongside the Rivers Casino Philadelphia Sports Lounge, which both complement the new BetRivers Sportsbook.
The new lounges form the basis of a multiyear partnership between the casino, BetRivers.com, the Wells Fargo Center and the Philadelphia Flyers.
