Maijala appointed Relax Gaming CEO as Eskola moves to CCO

Relax Gaming, the casino gaming content provider and aggregation platform, has appointed Tommi Maijala to the role of CEO, as predecessor Daniel Eskola moves into a new role as the company’s chief commercial officer.

Maijala’s previous role includes as Director and CEO of the iGame Group, joining the Kindred Group when it acquired iGame in 2015.

He subsequently became Kindred’s chief commercial officer for Malta, leading the Group’s operations in France, the UK and Australia.

Eskola, who has overseen a period of significant growth in the last 18 months, will direct the company’s commercial strategy in his new role as CCO, focusing on new market entries and securing strategic partnerships.

Maijala said: “Having followed Relax Gaming from day one, I am extremely honoured to join the team and continue to take the company to new heights alongside Daniel.
