NetEnt expands DraftKings deal to Pennsylvania and West Virginia

Online casino content developer NetEnt is expanding its collaboration with US operator DraftKings as its US expansion plan gathers pace.

Initially taking a selection of its titles live in New Jersey via the Boston headquartered firm in August 2019, the enhanced partnership will see NetEnt games go live with the firm’s growing online casino in Pennsylvania in the near future.

In addition, NetEnt has also signed an agreement to launch its games with DraftKings in West Virginia, with the ability to expand into new jurisdictions upon a successful launch.

As a result, players in those aforementioned states will soon be able to play a multitude of the supplier’s igaming suite such as Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Divine Fortune, as well as a variety of NetEnt’s table games.

The latest integration and agreements signed with DraftKings comes as the firm looks to further establish its reputation in the country as more states look to legalise online gaming.

“DraftKings’ size and market presence make this launch one of the most significant to date,” says Brian Kraft, NetEnt vice president commercial in the Americas

“We’re proud to expand our relationship with such a well-known operator and look forward to continuing the success that we’ve achieved together so far. We are thrilled to have such a renowned operator on board as we enter new jurisdictions.”

This follows a deal inked last week by NetEnt which saw the group integrate its portfolio of igaming titles into Scientific Games’ OpenGaming platform.

This saw a wide range of releases made available via the aggregation platform, with the content currently accessible with Scientific Games’ partners in New Jersey. Further launches in Michigan and Pennsylvania will follow.

The two companies are also said to be exploring further opportunities to collaborate and bring “cutting-edge” gaming experiences to players across regulated markets.
