Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil has taken its igaming portfolio live in Switzerland after securing a distribution partnership with operator Grand Casino Luzern and the mycasino.ch brand.

As a result of the tie-up, players will have access to Yggdrasil’s range of slots content, including, newly-released Syncronite Splitz, Hades Giglablox, Hyperburst, and Valley of the Gods 2, as well as titles from the growing YG Masters program portfolio.

Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program enables independent studios to develop and distribute content using the company’s global network and technology.

Björn Krantz, chief of global market operations at Yggdrasil, said of the group’s latest collaboration: “We are thrilled to enter Switzerland in collaboration with Grand Casino Luzern.

“Our market entry is yet another milestone achievement and shows our organisational strength to deliver on our business strategy and our commitment to expanding our footprint into high-value regulated markets.

“We are excited to add our games to Casino Luzern’s existing offering, and to be able to reach more players with our ever-expanding portfolio of innovative and exciting content. Both parties are now working on the planning for a successful launch to take place soon.”

After the new Swiss gambling regulation came into effect in 2019, Grand Casino Luzern was the second casino in the country to launch an igaming offering, under the mycasino.ch brand.

Wolfgang Bliem, CEO at Grand Casino Luzern, noted: “Yggdrasil is a market-leading slot supplier with a library of renowned titles that stand the test of time as well as new and thrilling titles that never fail to impress.

“We are delighted to soon be able to offer their best in class games portfolio to our entire network of players and we look forward to a very successful collaboration.”

Last week, Yggdrasil’s Pirates 2: Mutiny, which sees players sail the seven seas on the lookout for plunder, claimed SlotBeats’ Slot of the Week.
