Online casino content developer Kalamba Games has made its maiden entry into the Italian gaming market, after securing a partnership with igaming platform provider Blox.

Lauded as a “natural move” to a region that has displayed encouraging growth during recent years by Kalamba, the group praises Blox as “one of the fastest growing game distributors in the Italian and emerging regions”.

Karl Grech, chief commercial officer at Blox, commented: “Kalamba’s great portfolio of games has proven to be really popular across a wide variety of demographics and markets and we are thrilled to be the first in the country to offer their content.”

As a result of the link-up, Kalamba’s burgeoning portfolio of titles, which includes Sky Hunters, Joker Max, Beers on Reels, Wild Mine and Temple of Heroes, will be added to Blox’s igaming platform and made available to the provider’s network in Italy.

The agreement is the latest in a series of partnerships that enables Kalamba to further develop Bullseye, its own RGS platform, globally. This provides partners, such as Blox, with access to the group’s range of promotional tools, along with direct access to key parts of its catalogue of games.

Tamas Kusztos, head of sales and account management at Kalamba Games, said: “Blox is quickly making its mark in the Italian market and is the ideal partner for us as we look to establish ourselves in the territory and offer operators the great content that we’re renowned for.

“The Blox team has been really great to work with and we’re pleased to be continuing to make positive steps despite current global difficulties.”
