Everi Digital has unveiled a fresh contract alongside the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, in a deal which the group says it will become “the largest provider of three-reel stepper products” to the group’s PlayNow.com digital betting and gaming entity.

Pursuant to the contract, Everi Digital recently launched its online slot content on the BCLC’s PlayNow, and became the third slot content supplier to provide the group with both online and land-based games.

The online gaming division of casino, digital, and gaming industry entertainment and tech provider Everi Holdings, adds that it will also be providing its latest video slot content for use on the PlayNow online casino.

“We are extremely excited to continue working with BCLC to provide our high-performing game content that has proven popular with players in their land-based casinos to their growing audience of online players,” said David Lucchese, executive vice president of sales, marketing, and digital for Everi

“Online players in a growing number of markets clearly enjoy the experience provided by our library of world-class games, and the expansion of our partnership with BCLC demonstrates our efforts to leverage our engaging content to further expand our Digital gaming business.”

Last month, Everi lauded the “significant advances” of its games and fintech product portfolios, despite recording continued struggles during 2020 due to increased restrictions placed upon casino venues.

Reflecting the impact of the measures implemented during the last year, as previously expected, the group recorded fourth quarter revenue of $119.5m, this demonstrated a slight increase from Q3’s $112.1m but 17.6 per cent drop year-on-year from $145.1m.

Everi’s gaming segment declined to 14.1 per cent to $64.9m (2019: $77.1m), primarily reflecting a decrease in electronic gaming machine sales due to ongoing capital conservation efforts by casino operators, as they sought to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
