Relax Gaming has seen its Gibraltar branch, Relax Gaming Gibraltar, gain approval by the UK Gambling Commission, a move which the igaming aggregator and supplier says signals further growth opportunities “in one of the world’s strongest markets”.
The approval will see Relax’s roster of casino titles become available to UK operators through its Gibraltar arm, which the group lauds as “another milestone” in the group’s ongoing growth strategy.
Operator partners such as Boylesports, 32Red and BetVictor have already been successfully transferred, with Entain’s UK brands, including Ladbrokes and Coral, amongst the next to follow suit.
This becomes the latest licence approval for the group following its green-light from the Gibraltar licensing authority, with further expansion into the UK coming as the company strives to continue strengthening its position in a host of regulated markets, including the Nordics
Tommi Maijala, Relax Gaming CEO, said of the UKGC licence approval: “Following a fruitful relationship with the UKGC through our Malta-based company, having all our products and services approved for our Gibraltar branch is another major commercial highlight for us.
“Its significance will be felt across the business, including by our valued third-party partners. This licence acquisition represents fresh opportunity in our drive to deliver excellence and growth across all regulated markets.”
Relax Gaming has unveiled a number of commercial tie-ups in recent weeks alongside the likes of OneTouch Technology, Print Studios, and MagicJackpot, with its latest slot release, Book of 99, last week claiming SlotBeats’ Slot of the Week accolade.
