Microgaming has added further depth to its roster of exclusive development studios, as the online casino supplier unveils a distribution agreement alongside Reno-based Gold Coin Studios.

Launched in 2018, the studio has already released a host of games via the Microgaming platform, including its first offering Arthur’s Gold in July 2020 based on the medieval Arthurian legend, followed by deep sea adventure Aquatic Treasures, the Animals of Africa and action-packed Bushi Sushi.

Andrew Booth, director of games at Microgaming, said: “Gold Coin Studios have already given us some great games over the past year since they joined Microgaming. I’m looking forward to seeing them continue to cement their place in our roster of exclusive studios.”

Gold Coin Studios’ fifth release, the swashbuckling pirate adventure Silver Seas, which was rolled-out last week, includes Microgaming’s EpicStrike mechanic. The studio’s next release, Treasure Tracks, will arrive at the station on July 8, with more content to follow during the second half of 2021 and beyond.

John Duffy, CEO at Gold Coin Studios, added: “All of us here at Gold Coin Studios are thrilled to work with Microgaming and have had a brilliant experience so far.

“Our extensive land-based gaming experience has given us a great base to work from and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got coming up.”
