Casino content developer Booongo has revamped its ‘Promo UI’ software, in a move designed to drive a tighter connection between the main gameplay and gamification features of its suite of games.

The upgrades, say Booongo, have been carefully optimised for mobile and tablet devices, where space is limited, ensuring the promotional widgets do not heavily interfere with the main gameplay of the slot.

The ‘Promo UI 2.0’ upgrades will be released in three phases, beginning with a new widgets system that covers the company’s promotional features, including hype tournaments, prize drops, cashbacks and its soon-to-be-launched new jackpots product.

These new collapsible and expandable widgets, via a new promo UI icon button, have been designed to further improve the player experience across the company’s entire slots portfolio.

This will be followed with an update to all its in-game pop-ups, which detail key information concerning promo notifications, free bets and other prizes awarded to players.

The final stage will see all game menus refurbished in a bid to make it easier for players to understand the terms and conditions of promotional campaigns, including the latest tournament leaderboards and prize pools.

Yuriy Muratov, head of account management and business development at Booongo, explained: “Gamification tools are highly important in today’s marketplace, and these new design upgrades are an important move in order for us to deliver a smooth user experience across all channels.

“Through collapsible and expanding widgets, our slots are now packed with promotional features that do not cause too much disruption to the core gameplay, which is ultimately the main attraction for players.”
