PointsBet has unveiled an exclusive partnership agreement with Colonial Downs Group, as the betting and gaming operator prepares to undertake its latest US expansion.
This will see the group offer online sports wagering in Virginia after its wholly-owned subsidiary PointsBet Virginia was awarded a temporary supplier licence by the Virginia Lottery.
As the official, exclusive sports betting partner of NBC Sports, PointsBet will utilise the group’s television and digital assets to promote the PointsBet brand in Virginia.
As part of the agreement, NBC Sports provides PointsBet with year-round, multi-platform media and marketing opportunities across its portfolio of events, including exclusive multiplatform gameday integrations across NBC Sports Washington, regional broadcast home to the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals.

Colonial Downs Group boasts Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums in Richmond, Hampton, New Kent, Vinton, and Dumfries, as well as a Rosie’s Game Room in Collinsville, and proposed $389m The Rose Gaming Resort which would also be located in Dumfries.
