Videoslots has maintained its internal promotions strategy, after detailing a “remarkable rise” for Henrik Enesund after he became named as Head of Casino.
This comes just five years on from the Swede beginning work in Malta for the online casino operator as a customer service agent.
Since that date, he has subsequently been promoted to Casino Coordinator in January 2018 and Tournament Coordinator in August 2021, before taking up the post of Casino Team Leader in August 2021.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my career to date at Videoslots and am really looking forward continuing the great work of the brilliant Timo as Head of Casino,” Enesund commented.
“When I look back on the last five years at Videoslots I am immensely proud of my achievements and that of the wider team. I’m also super excited about our plans for 2022 and can’t wait to get started.
Enesund replaces the out-going Timo Thronicke as leader of Videoslots’ casino, which last month expressed delight at reaching a “milestone” 7,000th game offering, which was achieved via Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Valhalla slot title.
This came a little over five months after the group celebrated reaching the 6,000 mark, which was achieved via the Agent of Hearts game by long-term partner Play’n Go.
“Henrik has gone through the ranks quickly at Videoslots. He’s very talented and I’m delighted that he has taken up his new position,” stated Ulle Skottling, Videoslots’ Deputy CEO.
“I’m also really pleased that we have been able to promote another of our internal high-flyers as the retention of our best employees is one of the secrets to our success here. It bodes very well for the future.”
Videoslots has stressed that it places a significant focus on internal growth, with 33 per cent of promotions being as such through 2021 and 40 per cent thus far in the current year.
