Gaming1 has marked its entrance into the Dutch market by forming numerous partnerships within the regulated space on its debut.

Announcing a joint venture with Gran Casino and Van der Valk, as well as the addition of Circus.nl, to its affiliate programme, Sylvain Boniver, COO and Co-Founder at Gaming1, noted it was an “incredibly proud moment” into its “long-expected” Netherlands entry.

He continued: “With a track record of success spanning multiple regulated markets across the globe, our unique partnership model brings together expertise from both parties to deliver the ultimate omni-channel consumer experience.

“We’re delighted to partner with Gran Casino and Van der Valk, and given our home markets of Belgium and France, it’s certainly an incredibly proud moment for us all to announce our long-expected entrance into one of Europe’s most exciting new regulated jurisdictions.”

Under the joint venture agreement, Gran Casino will harness the supplier’s proprietary sports betting and casino platform, which is said to enable the former to enter the Dutch online betting and gaming space for the first time, established under Gaming1’s Circus brand.

In merging Gran Casino and Van der Valk’s hospitality and localised expertise with Gaming1’s online technology, the deal will also see the supplier provide its library of proprietary online game content, spanning slots and table games.

Frank Kastelijns, Director of Gran Casino, added: “The Dutch online market holds a wealth of opportunity, and we’re excited to partner with Gaming1, who brings an established reputation for transforming its partners operations into a true online experience.

“We’re sure that together we’ll be able to introduce players to one of the best online gaming catalogues available.”

Adding to the thoughts of Kastelijns and Boniver, Gert van der Valk, Director of Van der Valk International, believes the link-up demonstrates the company’s “ambitions” for the players in Holland, and hopes to take gaming and hospitality within the market to “new heights”.

Alongside the aforementioned, Gaming1 has also added Circus.nl to its affiliate programme, a move that it claimed would boost the website’s design, sportsbook product and casino profile.

Set to be added on March 28, the supplier stated that Circus.nl will offer providers, such as Greentube, Evolution, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Pragmatic, EGT and Scientific Games, extended reach and experience via its affiliate network.

On the addition, Boniver added: “We have no doubt that Circus.nl will benefit incredibly from the wide range of services our affiliate program offers, all designed to offer invaluable assistance to brands looking to reach new audiences.

“Following our debut in Holland at the start of the year, we’re sure that this latest move will greatly boost our efforts there in establishing ourselves as a true regional powerhouse.”

Moreover, Gaming1 expressed that the inclusion into its affiliate programme will enable Circus.nl to benefit from “flexible and modular” reward plans, “round the clock” customer support and various marketing tools.

Martijn Maertens, CEO Circus.nl, concluded: “We are delighted to join Gaming1’s impressive multi-brand affiliate programme, which will allow us to avail of the myriad first-class services and marketing tools that are sure to take Circus.nl to the next level!

“This move is sure to expand our exposure to a wide range of customers across our market – and we look forward to the wealth of benefits the deal will bring.”
