Igaming supplier Play’n GO has secured its second market entry this month as it gains a Remote Gambling Operator’s License issued by the Licensing Authority of Gibraltar.

Under the licence approval, the supplier’s partners that hold B2C licences from Gibraltar will be able to provide their customers with its catalogue of slots including Raging Rex 2, Reactoonz, Book of Dead, and Rise of Olympus from April 1.

“We are very thankful to the Licensing Authority of Gibraltar for this licence award,” explained Sissel Weitzhandler, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for Play’n GO.

“Gibraltar is an important jurisdiction to our strategy, and we look forward to working with existing and new partners through our own licence.”

Adding to the thoughts of Weitzhandler, Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO, noted: “Following closely after securing our supplier licence for Ontario last month, it’s exciting to now be able to add a Gibraltarian licence to the breadth of our offering.

“Play’n GO’s ability to work with operators across jurisdictions in regulated markets all around the world is unrivalled, especially with the addition of a Gibraltarian licence.

“Add in the power of our full content portfolio, in addition to the strength of our technology, and operators now recognise the true value of working with a supplier that is laser focused on regulated markets.”

As aforementioned, Play’n GO’s Gibraltar entry marks the second licence approval this month after the company was awarded a supplier licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

The company’s Ontario entry will see the firm’s portfolio made available for players in the province when the newly regulated market opens on April 4.

Commenting on its Canada debut, Olsson added: “Regulated markets are vital not just to Play’n GO’s business strategy, but to the industry as a whole; they ensure a safe gaming environment for players, and operators can focus on providing a fun and entertaining experience that is truly sustainable.

“Ontario is an important province representing some 40 per cent of the population of Canada, and we look forward to players there enjoying our games.

“However, Ontario represents just the first stage in Play’n GO’s North American entry strategy that will see our titles shortly be made available in selected regulated US state level igaming jurisdictions for the very first time.

“With Ontario’s regulated market opening, followed by our entry into the USA, it’s set to be an exciting year for Play’n GO.”
